At Mixeun, we want every Decorative Box to arrive safely, match its product description, and meet the expectations of the customer who selected it.

We understand that a return may occasionally be necessary. This Refund and Returns Policy explains return eligibility, return costs, damaged or incorrect order claims, exchanges, refund processing, and products that cannot be returned.

This policy applies only to products purchased directly through the official Mixeun website.

2. Thirty-Day Return Period

Customers may request a return within 30 calendar days from the recorded delivery date.

For orders delivered in separate parcels, the return period for each product begins on the date that particular parcel is marked as delivered.

To qualify:

  • The return request must be submitted within 30 calendar days of delivery.

  • Mixeun must approve the return before the product is shipped back.

  • The approved return should be sent within seven calendar days after return instructions are issued, unless another deadline is provided.

Returns sent after the approved period may be declined.

Nothing in this policy limits any mandatory consumer rights that may apply under local law.

3. Return Eligibility

A product may qualify for return when it:

  • Was purchased directly from Mixeun

  • Is unused and has only been handled as necessary for inspection

  • Is free from scratches, stains, odors, dents, moisture damage, or other customer-caused damage

  • Has not been painted, engraved, repaired, refinished, or otherwise altered

  • Includes all original parts, accessories, inserts, keys, hardware, and documentation

  • Is returned in its original packaging whenever reasonably possible

  • Is packed securely to prevent damage during return transportation

  • Is accompanied by valid proof of purchase

Opening the parcel to inspect the Decorative Box does not automatically make it ineligible for return.

However, a product that has been used for display, storage, resale, commercial photography, gifting, or another extended purpose may no longer be considered new and resalable.

4. How to Request a Return

Customers must contact Mixeun before sending a product back.

The return request should include:

  • Full name

  • Order number

  • Email address used at checkout

  • Product name

  • Reason for the return

  • Clear photographs of the product

  • Photographs of the packaging

  • Photographs or video of any reported damage, defect, or incorrect item

After reviewing the request, Mixeun will provide:

  • Return approval or a request for additional information

  • The authorized return address

  • Packaging and shipping instructions

  • A return authorization or reference number where applicable

Do not send a product to the address shown on the original shipping label, website footer, payment statement, or public business listing unless Mixeun has specifically confirmed that address for the return.

Unauthorized returns may be refused, delayed, or returned to the sender.

5. Return Shipping Costs

Change-of-Mind Returns

The customer is responsible for return shipping when the return is due to:

  • Personal preference

  • Ordering the wrong product

  • Selecting the wrong design, size, color, or finish

  • No longer wanting the product

  • Another reason unrelated to a Mixeun error

For these returns:

  • Return shipping is paid by the customer.

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

  • Expedited or optional delivery charges are non-refundable.

  • No restocking fee is charged for an approved return.

If the original order qualified for free standard shipping, Mixeun will not deduct an outbound standard shipping charge solely because the order received free shipping.

Mixeun-Responsibility Returns

When Mixeun confirms that a product arrived damaged, materially defective, incomplete, or different from the product ordered:

  • Mixeun will arrange or cover reasonable return shipping when a return is required.

  • A prepaid return label may be provided where supported.

  • No restocking fee will apply.

  • The original standard shipping charge may also be refunded.

The claim must be reviewed and approved before the customer arranges the return independently.

6. Damaged Products

Customers should inspect the product and packaging promptly after delivery.

Visible shipping damage should be reported within 48 hours of delivery whenever reasonably possible.

The report should include:

  • Order number

  • Photograph of the shipping label

  • Photograph of the complete outer carton

  • Close-up photographs of any visible carton damage

  • Photographs of the internal packaging

  • Clear photographs or video of the damaged product

  • A description of how the parcel arrived

Customers should keep the product, carton, inserts, wrapping, and all protective materials until Mixeun confirms the next steps.

Depending on the circumstances, Mixeun may offer:

  • A replacement product

  • A replacement component

  • A repair-related solution where appropriate

  • A partial refund accepted by the customer

  • A full refund

  • Another reasonable resolution

Reports submitted after 48 hours may still be reviewed. However, delayed reporting may make carrier investigations more difficult.

The 48-hour reporting request does not remove mandatory legal rights.

7. Defective Products

A product may be considered defective when a material manufacturing or functional problem prevents it from reasonably performing its intended purpose.

Examples may include:

  • A lid that cannot open or close correctly

  • A broken hinge present at delivery

  • A materially misaligned component

  • A missing functional part

  • Structural separation not caused by customer handling

  • Another verified manufacturing issue

The following are not normally considered defects:

  • Minor differences between screen colors and the physical product

  • Natural variations in wood grain, knots, texture, tone, or pattern

  • Small handcrafted differences that do not affect use

  • Measurements within a reasonable stated tolerance

  • Damage caused by impact, moisture, misuse, improper storage, or cleaning

  • Normal wear after use

Mixeun may request additional photographs, measurements, video, or product information before approving a claim.

8. Incorrect or Missing Items

Contact Mixeun promptly if the order contains:

  • A different Decorative Box

  • The wrong design, size, color, or finish

  • An incorrect quantity

  • Missing parts or accessories

  • A product intended for another customer

Before reporting a missing item, customers should check:

  • All protective materials

  • Interior product compartments

  • Packaging inserts

  • The bottom of the shipping carton

  • All shipment confirmation emails

  • Whether the order was divided into multiple parcels

Some components may be packed inside the Decorative Box for protection.

The incorrect product should remain unused and in its original packaging while the claim is reviewed.

If the error is confirmed, Mixeun may provide the correct product, send the missing component, arrange a prepaid return, issue a refund, or offer another appropriate solution.

9. Non-Returnable Products

The following products are generally not eligible for a standard change-of-mind return:

  • Personalized or custom-made products

  • Products engraved or modified at the customer’s request

  • Products clearly marked as final sale before purchase

  • Gift cards

  • Used products

  • Products damaged through misuse, neglect, or improper storage

  • Products altered, painted, repaired, refinished, or modified after delivery

  • Products with missing components or accessories

  • Products returned after the applicable return period

  • Products purchased from another retailer, reseller, or marketplace

  • Products sent to an unauthorized return address

A personalized, custom, or final-sale product may still qualify for support if it arrives damaged, materially defective, incomplete, or different from what was ordered.

Final-sale status will not be added retroactively after an order has been placed.

10. Natural and Handcrafted Variations

Some Decorative Boxes may include natural wood, wood-derived materials, applied finishes, printed surfaces, carved details, or handcrafted elements.

Normal variations may include:

  • Wood grain direction

  • Knots or natural markings

  • Pattern placement

  • Surface texture

  • Color intensity

  • Small tonal differences

  • Minor handcrafted asymmetry

These characteristics can make each product slightly different and are not considered defects when they remain consistent with the product description and do not affect reasonable use.

Lighting, photography, screen settings, and natural material variation may also cause the physical product to appear slightly different from online images.

A return based solely on personal preference regarding an acceptable natural variation will be treated as a change-of-mind return.

11. Return Packaging and Tracking

Decorative Boxes may contain delicate surfaces, corners, hinges, lids, handles, compartments, and decorative details.

Customers must package approved returns carefully by:

  • Using the original protective materials whenever available

  • Securing all removable parts

  • Protecting corners, edges, lids, handles, and finished surfaces

  • Placing the product inside a strong outer shipping carton

  • Filling empty space to prevent movement

  • Removing or covering old shipping labels

  • Sealing the carton securely

Do not attach a shipping label directly to the Decorative Box or its decorative retail packaging.

For customer-arranged returns, customers should use a tracked shipping service with delivery confirmation and appropriate coverage for the product value.

The shipping receipt and tracking number should be retained until the return is completed.

Mixeun is not responsible for customer-arranged returns that are lost or damaged because of inadequate packaging or an untracked shipping service.

12. Exchanges

Exchanges may be available when:

  • The original product qualifies for return

  • The requested replacement is available

  • The return request is submitted within the applicable period

  • The destination supports an exchange

  • Mixeun approves the exchange

For change-of-mind exchanges, the customer may be responsible for:

  • Return shipping

  • Replacement shipping

  • Any difference in product price

If a direct exchange is unavailable, the customer may return the eligible product for a refund and place a separate order for the preferred item.

For an approved damaged, defective, or incorrect-product claim, Mixeun will cover reasonable replacement and shipping costs.

Unless required by law, a replacement product does not automatically create a new 30-day return period. The applicable period will generally be the longer of:

  • The remaining return period from the original purchase; or

  • Fourteen calendar days after the replacement is delivered

13. Return Inspection

After an authorized return reaches the approved return location, Mixeun will inspect it to confirm:

  • The correct product was returned

  • The return was sent within the approved period

  • All original components are present

  • The product condition matches the return request

  • The item meets the eligibility requirements

  • Any reported damage or defect is consistent with the submitted evidence

Inspection is normally completed within 3–5 business days after delivery of the return.

Inspection may take longer when:

  • Multiple products are returned together

  • Additional evidence is required

  • The parcel arrives without identifying information

  • Return-transit damage is discovered

  • A carrier or payment investigation is required

  • The return arrives during a holiday or high-volume period

Mixeun will notify the customer when the refund is approved or if further information is needed.

14. Refund Method and Timing

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the order.

Refunds cannot normally be redirected to:

  • A different credit or debit card

  • A different bank account

  • Another customer

  • A newly created payment account

Once approved, Mixeun will normally submit the refund within 3–5 business days.

After submission, the customer’s bank, card issuer, or payment provider may require an additional 5–10 business days to display the funds.

The exact posting time is controlled by the financial institution. Mixeun cannot accelerate a refund after it has been successfully submitted.

If the original payment method is closed or inactive, the financial institution will determine how the refund is credited.

Store credit will only be issued when the customer agrees to receive it or when another legally permitted arrangement is required.

15. Refund Amount

For approved change-of-mind returns:

  • The eligible product price will be refunded.

  • Original standard shipping charges are non-refundable.

  • Expedited shipping charges are non-refundable.

  • Optional delivery-service fees are non-refundable.

  • Customer-paid return shipping is non-refundable.

When a return results from a confirmed Mixeun error, damaged item, material defect, incomplete order, or incorrect product, the original standard shipping charge may also be refunded.

A refund may be reduced or declined where legally permitted if the product:

  • Has been used beyond reasonable inspection

  • Is returned with customer-caused damage

  • Is missing components

  • Has been altered or repaired

  • Is not the product originally shipped

  • Has lost value because of customer handling

  • Was damaged during return shipping because of inadequate packaging

Mixeun will provide an explanation if a refund adjustment is necessary.

16. Partial Refunds

A partial refund may be offered when:

  • The customer chooses to keep a product with a minor issue

  • A nonessential component is missing

  • Part of a multi-product order is returned

  • The returned product has lost value because of customer handling

  • The customer and Mixeun agree that a partial refund is the most appropriate resolution

Mixeun will not issue an unexplained partial refund for an eligible product returned complete and in its original condition.

17. Bundles, Promotions, and Free Gifts

If a product was purchased as part of a bundle, volume discount, multi-buy offer, or conditional promotion, the refund may be recalculated based on the products kept by the customer.

For example, if a discount required the purchase of two products and one is returned, the remaining product may no longer qualify for the original discount.

Free gifts included with a qualifying purchase must be returned when the qualifying product is returned.

If the gift is not returned, its stated or reasonable retail value may be deducted from the refund where legally permitted.

18. International Returns

Customers returning a product from outside the United States must contact Mixeun before arranging shipment.

For international change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for:

  • International return postage

  • Tracking

  • Shipping insurance

  • Export or customs documentation

  • Carrier handling charges

  • Other return-related costs

The parcel should be accurately declared as returned merchandise where permitted.

Customers must not:

  • Declare an inaccurate product value

  • Describe the return as a gift

  • Send a parcel with charges payable by Mixeun upon delivery

  • Use an untracked shipping method

  • Ship the return to an unauthorized address

Mixeun is not responsible for customs charges or delays caused by inaccurate return documentation completed by the customer.

For an approved damaged, defective, incomplete, or incorrect order, Mixeun will provide instructions regarding the authorized return method and reasonable shipping costs.

19. Refused, Unclaimed, and Returned-to-Sender Orders

Refusing delivery or failing to collect a parcel is not considered an approved return.

A parcel may be returned to sender because of:

  • An incorrect or incomplete address

  • Repeated failed delivery attempts

  • Failure to collect the parcel

  • Restricted delivery access

  • Refusal to pay applicable import charges

  • Refusal of delivery without prior approval

  • Failure to respond to carrier communication

Refunds for returned-to-sender parcels are reviewed after the parcel reaches the authorized facility and is inspected.

Where legally permitted, reasonable nonrecoverable charges may be deducted, including:

  • Original shipping costs

  • Carrier return fees

  • Customs fees

  • Storage costs

  • Address correction charges

  • Reshipping costs

If the return was caused by a Mixeun or carrier error, Mixeun will cover reasonable reshipping costs.

20. Lost or Undelivered Shipments

An order that was never delivered is not handled as a standard product return.

If tracking stops updating or the estimated delivery period has passed, customers should contact Mixeun so that we can review the shipment and, where appropriate, open a carrier investigation.

A shipment is not considered officially lost solely because it is delayed.

If the carrier confirms that the parcel is lost, Mixeun may provide:

  • A replacement at no additional product cost; or

  • A refund to the original payment method

21. Delivered but Not Received

If tracking shows that a parcel was delivered but it cannot be located, customers should first:

  • Check all entrances and safe delivery areas

  • Ask household members

  • Check with neighbors where appropriate

  • Contact building reception, security, or management

  • Review carrier photographs or delivery notes

  • Contact the local carrier

If the parcel remains missing, contact Mixeun with the order number and available delivery information.

The final resolution may depend on carrier records, delivery scans, GPS information, photographs, signatures, local circumstances, and applicable consumer protection rules.

22. Purchases From Other Sellers

This policy applies only to products purchased directly through the official Mixeun website.

Products purchased from a marketplace, retailer, reseller, social commerce platform, or another third party must generally be returned through the original seller and are subject to that seller’s return policy.

Mixeun cannot directly refund a payment collected by another business.

23. Cancellations Before Shipment

This policy applies primarily after a product has shipped or been delivered.

Customers who wish to cancel an order should contact Mixeun as soon as possible.

Cancellation may only be available before the order has been:

  • Packed

  • Labeled

  • Assigned for carrier collection

  • Transferred to the shipping carrier

Once the order has shipped, it cannot normally be canceled. The customer may request an eligible return after delivery.

24. Return Abuse and Fraud Prevention

Mixeun may investigate and reject returns involving:

  • A product different from the one originally shipped

  • Empty or substituted parcels

  • Altered shipping or return documentation

  • Intentional product damage

  • False damage or missing-item claims

  • Repeated misuse of the return process

  • Payment disputes filed after a refund has already been issued

Any decision will be based on available order, carrier, payment, and product evidence.

This section does not restrict legitimate claims or mandatory consumer rights.
